Slip Rings

Slip ring transmitters — also known as rotary joints or transfer systems — enable the transfer of electrical power, signals, or media between stationary and rotating components. Used when continuous rotation beyond 360° is needed, they consist of a slip ring assembly, current collector, and often a protective cover. Moog slip rings provide dependable signal, power, and data transmission even in extreme environments, from freezing snow regions to hot, dry conditions, and can combine multiple transmission technologies within one system.
